Keep an eye out on the previous Miss America Post, as I will be adding pictures as I get them!
Thanks to everyone who helped with my MaryKay Welcome Home Party! It was a lot of fun working with different colors and shading! We had lots of fun telling stories and playing with make up.
It was so great to be able to come back and do an event with my local buddies at the our Vancouver Uptown Festival. I was able to perform two of my tap solos, along with participate in a small parade. It was also lots of fun talking with the local vendors, and meeting some of the kids from across Vancouver.
At the festival I donated blood for the very first time. This was defiantely a cool experience! I was able to save roughly 3 lives with my small donation.
Congratulations to Miss Washington's Outstanding Teen 2005, Shalane Larango, for being such a great representation of our state at the Miss Teen USA program this past week! We are so proud of you Shalane!
