I was also able to go up to the Miss Seattle pageant with my mommy. We had a blast watching Elyse emcee! All we need now, is a teen program ::hint hint...wink wink::
Congratulations to Miss Seattle 2008, Allison Rone and Miss Emerald City 2008, Ada Rose Williams.
They, along with the rest of the contestants, truly sparkled on stage!
After the pageant, my mother, Sally, and I went to Red Robin for a truly glamorous meal. Then it was back on the road for a long trip back to Vancouver. Well, in actuality, it was a long trip for my mom and a long nap for me.
Then the next morning it was an early morning to make it back north for Elyse's welcome home party. She is such a sweetheart and it was great to hear her talk about each of her adventures and how much of an impact everyone has had on her and her journey thus far. I know, she'll represent Washington well! And what could I possibly do without my miss?!?!?!
Alas, now I am home writing a blog and preparing for my first day of school tomorrow. At 7 AM tomorrow I will officially be a senior in high school!!!
HOW COOL!?!?!?!

Ada Rose Williams, Miss Emerald City 2008 and Allison Rone, Miss Seattle 2008 with Elyse and I.

We're goofballs.

This is Miss Tri-Cities, Kristin Cox and I being fish. I realized after her crowning, that I had not gotten a picture with her yet! This was our replacement picture. It had to be exceptionably memorable, because we had missed the crowning night.

I'm her outstanding teen and we go together like Seattle and Starbucks.
